Open since 1977 this farmers market offers the a vast array of the finest in fresh produce including dairy, cheese, flowers, meat, pastry and fruit. The market also has a wine area. The market serves up to 100,000 visitors per week. Many people consider it to be Atlanta's best farmers market due to the choice of produce including unique products with an international flair. - E - Fernbank Museum of Natural History
This Atlanta attraction offers fun interactive learning that will intrigue adults and children alike. It is home to some of the world's largest dinosaurs as the "Giants of the Mesozoic" exhibition features giant replicas of the original specimens. The museum's "A Walk Through Time in Georgia" is another permanent exhibition that is on display here. There is a giant IMAX theater here also. - F - Georgia Aquarium
"The Worlds Largest Aquarium" is how it is described and you could not argue with that statement following a visit here. There are eight million gallons of fresh and marine water here along with over 100,000 marine creatures. It is one of Atlanta's most popular tourist attractions and should be high on your priorities when visiting Atlanta. - G - Lenox Square
Lenox Square is one of Atlanta's finest shopping malls, featuring close to 250 shops offering many familiar brand names alongside unique specialty stores. The mall is home to some of Atlanta's best designer stores including Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton and Cartier. - H - Margaret Mitchell House
Margaret Mitchell was the famed author of Gone With The Wind and this house is where she wrote the majority of the classic novel. Now a museum the house attracts fans of the novel from across the globe. Memorabilia is on display and for sale here and educational courses are held regularly. The house is on the US National Registrar of Historic Places. - I - Phipps Plaza
Upscale luxurious shopping at its finest ,Phipps Plaza boasts stores by world-renowned designers such as Hugo Boss, Versace, Armani, Jimmy Choo and Gucci. It is little wonder that this mall is ranked amongst the very best in the South. There are 100 shops here along with a large cinema complex and delicious restaurants. - J - Stone Mountain Park
This massive 3,200-acre park is dominated by the large granite dome etched with the carvings of Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davies and is one of Atlanta's favourite destinations. There are plenty of activities in the park including the Skyride cable-car ride to the mountain summit, walking trails and sports activities. - K - The King Center
Established in 1968 by Coretta Scott King, the King Center is dedicated to Dr Martin Luther King as a memorial to the human rights leader. It attracts over 650,000 visitors annually and is one of Atlanta's most visited attractions. Interactive exhibits and educational highlights are the cornerstone of the King Center which is located in Martin Luther King National Historic Site. - L - The Mall of Georgia
Located just outside Atlanta, this mall is the biggest in Georgia and has over 230 shops to cater to all requirements. Fashion is represented by the likes of Banana Republic, Armani Exchange, Gap and J Crew. Department stores, CD shops and toy stores are plentiful in this extremely popular Atlanta region mall. - M - The Perimeter Mall
This mall offers a combination of outdoor shopping and conventional indoor shopping mall experience. The mall is home to 200 shops and eateries including Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Gap, Victoria's Secret, Lacoste and Foot Locker. - N - World of Coca-Cola
