    This upscale mall is home to boutiques and stores specializing in fashion, art and cosmetics. The mall is also home to some tempting cafes & restaurants.
  • B - Bernabeu Stadium

    Madrid's Bernabeu Stadium is home to Real Madrid, one of the most famous and successful soccer teams in the world. Opened in 1947 this is one of the world's largest soccer stadiums once having an attendance of 120,000, though the current capacity is circa 80,000. Real Madrid have had some of the biggest names in soccer wear their famed white shirts including Luis Figo, Ronaldo, Puskas and David Beckham. The World Cup Final of 1982 between Italy & Germany was played in the Bernebeu.

    This Spanish shopping chain has its flagship store in Madrid. This shop is home to some of the world's most luxurious and well-known brands including Armani, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry.
  • D - El Teleferico de Madrid (Cable Car)

    This short, ten minute cable car ride provides a stunning view of the beautiful Madrid skyline.
  • E - Gran Via

    One of Madrid's liveliest areas, this street is home to malls, cinemas and some of Madrid's more upscale shopping options along with the ubiquitous dirge of souvenir shops.
  • F - La Vaguada

    This shopping centre is one of Madrid's largest with over 350 stores. It combines department stores with all the best known brands along with some of Madrid's more unique shops. It also houses a cinema.
  • G - Musea Reina Sofia

    As a museum dedicated to art of the 20th century this beautiful museum in Madrid does not disappoint. It focuses mainly on art originating in Spain, notably Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. There are few foreign works on display; however there is a collection of Francis Bacon's work. The most famous painting in the museum is Picasso's Guernica.
  • H - National Archaeological Museum of Spain

    This museum first opened its doors in 1867 and is home to a collection of Celtic, Greek, Iberian and Roman antiques. Most famously perhaps, it is home to a replica of the Altamira cave and many tourists to Madrid visit to see the replica alone.
  • I - Parque Del Buen Retiro

    Translating to English as "Park of the Pleasant Retreat" the name gives you an idea of what Madrid's most popular garden to offer. The park features a large artificial lake, coupled with a monument to King Alfredo XII. Here you will find street performers, puppet shows and the opportunity to rent paddle boats to row out on the lake.
  • J - Prado Art Museum

    Featuring some of the finest exhibitions of European art from the 12th century onwards this famous Museum is an essential visit. The museum displays 1,300 paintings along with collections of prints, coins and medals. The museum opened in 1819 and is renowned for being host to the world's finest collection of Spanish art.
  • K - Rastro Flea market

    This market is a tradition each Sunday in Madrid, where you can expect to find the weird, wonderful and whacky on display!
  • L - Royal Palace

    The official home to Spain's royal family despite the fact that they do not actually reside here, it is one of Europe's largest palaces with over 2,800 rooms. Thirty rooms are open to the public and the palace is home to some majestic art including works by Caravaggio and Goya. The palace also contains armoury and weaponry dating back to the 13th century.
